TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms of service apply to all purchases made on mechanicsart.com.

 

Article 1. Definition

The mechanicsart.com website is a service provided by Franck STEPHAN, 65 Rue de la Roquette, 75011 PARIS, France. Business registration number (SIRET) 33268827400049.

Through his website, mechanicsart.com, Franck STEPHAN sells numbered and signed reproductions of his original illustrations.

Any buyer who places an order implicitly acknowledges that he/she has read and agrees to be bound by these terms of service.

 

Article 2. Price

The retail price of my artwork is indicated in euros, inclusive of VAT.

Shipping fees are included in the total price indicated when making an online purchase. For shipments outside France, any customs duties shall be paid exclusively by the buyer.

 

Article 3. Payment

Online purchases are made using PayPal. If you would like to use another payment method such as a check or wire transfer, please contact me. Ownership of the purchased item shall only be transferred once full payment of the order has been made.

 

Article 4. Shipping

Your item shall be shipped within France or to any other country by La Poste, the French postal service, with a tracking number. Except in the case of a major incident, delivery shall take place within three to five business days in France, and within five to ten business days for all countries outside France. The buyer receives an email and tracking number once the item has been shipped.

 

Article 5. Cancellations

In accordance with the French Consumer Code, the buyer has the right to cancel his/her purchase within seven business days after receiving the product. To exercise this right, the buyer must return the item in its original packaging, at his/her own expense, including any customs duties. The buyer may receive a refund, choose a replacement product of equivalent value, or receive credit toward a new order.

 

Article 6. Returns

If the purchased item has a proven defect, or if any damage occurs during shipping, the buyer must return the item in its original packaging, at his/her own expense, within 48 hours of receiving the item. The two parties shall then reach an agreement with regard to the reimbursement or replacement of the item in question.

 

Article 7. Disputes

In the event of failure to settle the claim out of court, only the French courts and tribunals shall have jurisdiction to litigate a dispute.

 

Article 8. Intellectual property

All images published on the mechanicsart.com website are the property of

their author, Franck STEPHAN. Any purchase of a numbered and signed print does not include the transfer of usage rights. Under intellectual property and copyright law, all uses except private use are prohibited. Unless prior permission has been granted, any reproduction of this site, even partial, is strictly prohibited. All rights reserved.
